Attractions

Con Phung:
It is in Chau Thanh district some 85 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Arriving here you will have a chance to see ancient buildings of architectural repute, as well as many orchards.

Vam Ho Bird Ground:
It is situated in My Hoa commune, Ba Tri district, about 120 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

Relics of the People's concerted Uprising:
Dinh Thuy commune, Mo Cay district,105 km from Ho Chi Minh City, is the cradle of the people's concerted uprising against the US - backed Saigon administration.

Tomb of patriotic poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu:
It is at An Duc commune, Ba Tri district, 125 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

CON  PHUNG (Hillock of the Coconut Religion) :
Con Phung is located in Tan Thach Village of the Chau Thanh District, near the Rach Mieu Ferry between My Tho and Ben Tre on Highway No. 60.
It is situated on an island emerging from the middle of the Tien River, and has an area of 28 ha. Visitors can see original architectural works of the site of the holy land of the Coconut Religion. In Con Phung there is also a handicraft village producing furniture with materials taken from the coconut tree, and families raising bees for honey from the longan flower. The product is sold on the spot to visitors.
