To Nung lake:
The lake is 6 kilometers north of Pleiku as the crow flies. To Nung lake is the site of an extinguished volcano which had been inactive for millions of years now. The lake is 230 hectares in area and has an oval shape.

The lake is full of clear-cut blue water the year round which allows visitors to see schools of fish swimming in the lake. The lake with a depth of between 20 and 40 meters serves as a natural container of fresh water. The local fresh water fishing industry catches hundreds of tons of fish for local consumption.

The landscape on the lakeside is unique. The eye-catching beauty of the natural surrounding offers visitors the best sight at dawn when they can turn their head round to take in as much greenery of the far away primitive forests as possible while the singing of birds hidden among low bushes nearby the surrounding low hilly bushes serves as backdrop music. Primitive tranquility is completely preserved. The poetic scenery is added with several early sailing boats plying in the lake shrouded with fog and mist. With this scenery in mind many visitors has regarded To Ning Lake as the pearl of the Pleiku province in particular and the Central Highlands in general

Tay Nguyen Grave House:
According to aged old customs of the people of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands after the burial of the deceased they build a small hut on top of the grave to shelter the grave from rain and sunshine.

The hut is usually stocked with personal belongings of the deceased. Two or three years later, family members of the deceased are going to remove the hut and build a new, bigger wooden house there. In addition, the grave is to have meticulous decorations. The grave house surrounded with a wooden fence within which there is a wooden statue resembling a human being, a bird or an animal.

The practice of removing the make-shift hut is usually organized in the spring and is considered a festive day. The ritual is called Le Bo Mo (Grave Hut Removal Rite). In this day villagers are gathered at the cemetery ground and the family members bring food offerings including rice-distilled rice, rice, cooked pork and other meat. After the offerings are given to deceased, villagers are to sing songs, dance and enjoy the drink and the food taken down from the alter. They have the belief that the deceased has returned to join the feast with those alive.

To Nung Lake :
To Nung Lake is located approximately 10 km from Playku, in Gia Lai province. Situated in the middle of the highlands red soil area, To Nung Lake looks like an emerald, with its green clear water. The lake lies on the top of an extinct volcano. The view is spectacular with the lush vegetation and the colorful insects around the lake.

From the bank of the lake, one can get a general view of the area including Bien Ho Tea processing farm, Playku town, and Kon Tum town. Legendary Horung Mountain nearby makes the lake even more beautiful. One can visit several Rong houses and meet hospitable highland inhabitants. To Nung Lake is the pride of the Playku highland area.

Xung Khoeng Waterfall :

Xung Khoeng Waterfall is 30 km south-west of the town of Pleiku, in the Chu Prong District. The waterfall is about 40-m high, and from afar, visitors can hear drawling sounds of flowing water. On the two sides of the falls, trees and plants grow luxuriantly, and above is the high blue sky. The water makes its way into cracks in the rock to form a clear lake, surrounded by craggy walls.
